My Story

2010

First steps in kitesurfing

I started kitesurfing in Dakhla in 2010, on the lagoon where I grew up. Riding almost every day helped me build a strong connection with the spot and understand its conditions deeply.

2011

First Teaching Experience

I began working as an assistant instructor. This was my first real step into teaching, learning how to guide riders safely and adapt to different levels.

2012

Major turning point

I became an IKO-certified instructor, won the Moroccan Junior Freestyle Championship, and received my first sponsorship with Airush. This year confirmed my path as a professional rider and coach.

2013–2015

Competition & Progression

I focused on competition and performance. I became a two-time Moroccan Freestyle Champion in 2014 and 2015 and finished in the top 16 at the Freestyle Kitesurf World Championships. During this period, I was also sponsored by Cabrinha, gaining international experience and exposure.

2012–2016

Teaching Around Kite Camps

Alongside competitions, I worked as an instructor in different kite camps between 2012 and 2016. Teaching riders from all over the world helped me refine my coaching style and understand how to support progression at every level.

2016

June

Pro Kite Morocco Is Born

In June 2016, I founded Pro Kite Morocco as a kite coaching and trip guiding company. The idea was to create a local, personal project focused on quality, progression and authentic experiences in Dakhla.

2017

Opening to Beginners

In 2017, I started offering beginner lessons as part of Pro Kite Morocco, making kitesurfing accessible to newcomers while keeping safety and progression as top priorities.

2018

Professional Recognition

2018 was one of the biggest highlights of my career, as I officially started working with Airush Kiteboarding, strengthening my professional path in the sport.

2016 - Today

Sharing the Experience

From 2016 to today, I’ve continued teaching, coaching and guiding riders through Pro Kite Morocco. Whether on the water or exploring Dakhla beyond the lagoon, my goal is always the same: share my passion, help you progress safely, and offer a true local experience.
